Privacy Policy

Short version: Edibill doesn't store your personal data. Receipt images are processed to extract items and are not retained. Diner names exist only for the duration of your session. We don't track you, sell your data, or require you to create an account.

Edibill is a restaurant bill-splitting app available at edibill.app and on the iOS App Store. It is an independent product.

How we use AI to process receipts

When you photograph a receipt, the image is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to extract item names and prices. This processing happens in real time and the image is not retained by Edibill or stored by Anthropic beyond the processing of your request. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing and can be found at anthropic.com/privacy.

Payments

If you purchase scan credits, payments are processed by Stripe. Edibill does not store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing and can be found at stripe.com/privacy.

Hosting and infrastructure

Edibill is hosted on Railway. Basic server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) may be retained by Railway for operational purposes. Railway's privacy policy can be found at railway.app/legal/privacy.

Cookies

Edibill uses only essential session cookies required for the app to function. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
